Obtaining DKP- Points are earned for attending raid boss kills. Points are typically awarded as follows:
- 2 points for attendance. You must be in the zone and in the raid at 6:30 to receive attendance points.
2 points for farm-status bosses.~1 point per attempt on undefeated bosses.15 points for first kills.- Bonuses can be given for good performance. Examples would be fast clears, difficult bosses with 0 deaths, or achievements.
- Even if you aren't in the raid, you earn full points by being readily available and on the wait list.
Eligibility- You're able to loot a maximum of 2 main-spec items per night and a maximum of 1 per boss. Off-spec items do not count towards this total.
- If you have reached your loot limit, you may still bid on items, but you will be lower in priority than those who are not loot-locked as seen below
- As a general rule, drakes+ main spec > loot-locked drakes+ main spec > drakes+ off-spec > whelps > applicants > alts for loot priority.
- You must stick to your intended armor class unless an item drops to the lowest possible bid. Warriors can only bid on plate, Druids leather, etc.
- If an item drops to the lowest possible bid, it's fair game amongst guilded raiders. This means anyone can win the item regardless of spec, rank, negative DKP, armor class, or your nightly loot limit.
Bidding- When an item drops, an officer will link it in chat along with the starting bid. Send a tell to that officer with your bid.
- When the bids are collected, the officer will call for the roll.
- If you bid the same amount as the bid you roll 1-x, where x is what you bid. Example: If an item costs 30 points and you bid 30 points, your roll would be 1-30.
- If you bid more points than the minimum bid, you take the difference between your bid and the minimum bid, divide it by 2 and add that number to both the low and high end of your roll. Example: If an item costs 30 points and you bid 60 points, your roll would be 15-45.
- To make it simple, here's a roll calculator.
- If the officer taking tells does not receive any bids, the item will be lowered in price.
- An item can be lowered only twice before it is disenchanted.
- If an item is lowered, you are not allowed to bid more than the amount it has been lowered to.
- Single-drop quest items or vanity items such as mounts will cost 0 DKP and those with highest loot priority will /random 100.
Officer-Awarded Items- Tradeskill items and legendary items will be officer-awarded based on a number of factors including but not limited to overall contribution to the guild, raid performance, and attendance.
